Here's the tentative schedule for our Agape Meal gatherings during May. Check the website for updates!

Friday, May 6 -- We'll reflect again on Dr. King's words about Dark, Light, Death, Life, Hate and Love as we try to sort out the aftermath of the assassination of Osama bin Laden. How do we now move forward in our Jesus journey?
The Rev. Geoffrey A. Black, General Minister and President of our United Church of Christ, has issued a call to prayer for the pathways to peace which can be found at http://www.ucc.org/news/a-call-to-prayer-for-the.html .

Friday, May 13 -- a short powerpoint about the paintings of Filipino artist Emmanuel Garibay, who painted the wonderful "Emmaus" picture that is taped on our wall.

Friday, May 20 -- ~~another Easter-people theme as we ponder the question, "Encountering the Risen Christ on...facebook???"~~ NO Amistad gathering this evening, take the evening off!!

Friday, May 27 -- Agape Meal Picnic in the Park, 6 - 8 p.m. at Alamo Creek Park behind our home on Brookside Drive.
