 Here are tentative plans for our February gatherings.  Watch the website for updates.

Friday, February 3 --  An old poster from the Jesus Movement of the 1960's proclaims: 

WANTED: JESUS CHRIST
Notorious leader of an underground liberation movement
Wanted for the following charges:
Practicing medicine, winemaking and food distribution without a license
Interfering with businessmen in the temple
Associating with known criminals, radicals, subversives, prostitutes and street people

Almost sounds like someone involved with the Occupy Movement, doesn't it?  Is this the Jesus we want to follow?

 Friday, February 10 --  On this Valentine's Day weekend, we'll look again at the heart of the gospel, LOVE -- and what does LOVE have to do with a "notorious leader of an underground liberation movement", anyway?   

Friday, February 17 --  We'll continue our annual Epiphany acknowledgement of the connection between science and religion, matter and One-ness, with a look at a recent news story about the maybe-discovery of the Higgs boson (who the hell is Higgs Boson?) or Are you there, God Particle?  (re-scheduled from January 27)

Friday, February 24 --  open date:  what would YOU like to do??

And a timely Feb-note:  There is a real consensus that we want to give the Mission Fund to Matthew for his mission trip to Haiti!  If anyone wants to make a special donation, let me know ASAP and I'll add it in.
